[Sh-Rumia]

*Sighs and begins to walk down the mountain*

"Huh, I don't think I ever bothered to give you my name..."

[Vaalian]

*Notices her talking and blinks a couple times*

"That's true! What IS your name anyways?"

[Sh-Rumia]

*Continues walking*

"Okonoji, Ritsu. But call me Okonoji-san."

*looks back over her shoulder*

"And I'd prefer if you don't call me by any other name."

[Vaalian]

"Okonoji-san? Odd name... My name is Vaalian. I was born with my name and have forgotten my last name for ages..."

[Sh-Rumia]

*They reach a forest, but instead skirt around it, eventually coming to a stop as a large flower garden is just entering view.*

"Alright, that garden over there is The Garden of The Sun. We will be walking near it in order to avoid youkai and fairy attacks. You will keep your hands at your sides at all time, and touch nothing."

"That forest is The Forest of Magic, home to faries, youkai, and a human or 2. We are not going through there due to my desire to be attacked every few seconds."

[Vaalian]

"Wouldn't all creatures be frightened of a vampire walking amongst them? I am a devourer of blood and most creatures have blood"

[Sh-Rumia]

"Fairys might be okay to attack physically since they respawn infinitely, but attacking a youkai with anything but danmaku is a no-no"

She continues walking, staying a gooc distance ftom both the ominous forest, and the cheery sunflower field.*

[Vaalian]

*Follows her gladly as I eye the forest and its hidden secrets*

"If you say so, I shall follow you then. On the journey again..."

[Sh-Rumia]

There is a small rustling as a small group of fairys playfully shooting danmaku at each other flies out of the forest and out over the field. Ritsu stops and watches for a moment before motioning for you to back into the forest, while doing so herself.

[Vaalian]

*He quickly disappears into the forest moving at blinding speed. Carries his pack over his shoulder while running through part of the forest, waiting for her to catch up to him. He then lets her take the lead through the winding forest*

"Lead and I'll follow"

[Sh-Rumia]

*Lingers at the forest edge but pales and moves to take the lead when an immense crackling accompanied by the low hum of a laser pierces the air*

"We aren't far from our destination anyhow."

She begins walking leading a winding path through the forest.

[Vaalian]

*Continues walking a steady pace as I listen for any sign of an intruder. Surprisingly enough, the forest is unusually quiet. No forest is ever this quiet*

"Is this forest supposed to be quiet?"

[Sh-Rumia]

"Usually? No, it's usually never this quiet," She mumbles more to herself. "At least not usually..."

You near a large clearing.

[Vaalian]

*Looks forward into the large clearing, rather uncomfortable about exposing myself so openly, I ask you a question*

"What uhh...exactly lives in this forest...?"

[Sh-Rumia]

"Uh, the usual fairy and youkai types."

She pauses to think before finishing, "And a human or two, I think."

She looks around after saying this.

"It's really quiet, I wonder if they all got scared off by the shockwave of that lazer."

[Vaalian]

"Maybe the sense my presence of a different vampire they they have seen?"

He looks around before approaching the clearing.

"Is this clearing special in any sort of way? And what's this forest called?"

[Sh-Rumia]

"Uh, maybe?"

She glances around, "Well it shouldn't be..." A frown,"I told you, this is The Forest of Magic, home to youkai, and a few humans."

[Vaalian]

Do you not see many humans around in these parts? Much less a creature from an unknown place?

*Continues walking*

[Sh-Rumia]

"Well, every once in a while a human comes through, but they're more likely to get attacked than us."

"I thnk it's been a while since a strange thing like you came along... there was that Hisoten-thing but that was just some Kappa invention."

They see a dim light a ways off in the forest, it seems to eminate from a home of some sort.

[Max]

Sakura peers out the window of her house -it would be more likely to be called a shack than a house, however- and notices two people walking through the forest a little ways down the path.

"They probably wanna steal my light!" she whispers to herself, quickly putting out the small fire she had in the center of the empty room

[Sh-Rumia]

*Blinks before making to lead herself and her companion past the home*

"Well that's kind curious..."

[Max]

"Well that was close... probably."

*sighs as she leans against a wall, letting out a loud creak*

[Sh-Rumia]

*Jumps a little*

"Ack! I knew someone was in there!"



Gonna have to wait a little bit for our buddy Val to post as well.

yeah, thought so.

[Vaalian]

He quickly looks around at the loud noise he had heard and whispers to his companion.

"How well do you know this forest...EXACTLY?"
