*Quietly explores a mystic lagoon deep in the mountains. Its his first time ever traveling up through this area and decides to look deeper into the surrounding lands. Comes across a lagoon and gently soaks his weary feet in it. He suddenly jumps away from the water as the mystic energy he feels coming from it sends a jolt through his body, making him paralyzed on the edges of the water*

*Having just woken up for the night, Ritsu poked her head through the opening of her cave home, she was suprised to see a youkai standing by the body of water below. Fearing an eventual attack she proceeded to use her ability to trip him into the water as she retreated safetly into her home.*

*Vaalian shoots out of the water as the mystic energy from the lagoon wakes him from his paralysis. Coughs and hacks as he gently crawls away from the lagoon, looks around sharply as he senses movement near-by*

*shakes fearfully in her underground home, ready to flee deep into a network of tunnels at a moments notice*

*Hears the growling of the approaching bear and suddenly disappears into the trees above, waits for the bear to be underneath and jumps down on top of it and wrestles it. Notices his weapons are still by the lake as the bear rakes his arm. Screams out in pain as his rage suddenly fills him and his strength doubles. Viciously rips off the bears head as his eyes turn bright red from the hunger for blood. Feasts greatly on the bears blood*

*stumbles deeper into the caves to get away from the ghastly sounds above.*

*Hears the movement underground as I quickly grab my weapons and track down the area of where it was coming from. Finds a cave as I peer down into it looking for any signs of recent tracks. Sees several small footprints on the ground as I quickly track down where they're going*

*hears something enter the cave and quickly disrupts the balance of anything in that direction as the tunnel starts to get smaller, forcing her to turn or duck to pass through at points.*

*Trips suddenly and falls down, rolls down the tunnel as I bump into some rocks. Gathers my wits as I look at the narrow passageways. Looks with distaste as I take my katanas and gather my strength to make a clean cut through the rocks without changing any balance to the surrounding area. Continues forward, cutting through what I cant fit through. Calls out to the constant shuffling of feet, "I wont hurt you!"*

*Ritsu, hearing the voice of the youkai not far behind, cursed her luck for forgetting her spell cards and hopped over a rock imbedded in the floor and hid in a hollow between it and the rock wall of the cave itself. There she waited, with breath held.*

*Stops mid track as I hear another movement not far behind, jumps and sticks my swords into the ceiling of the larger cave area as I hang from the ceiling in the shadows as I wait for that other creature to appear*

*hearing something near the ceiling she glances off to the side. Almost panicking as she see's the glowing red eyes of a vampire, however, the eyes are not focused at her but instead down the way he came.*

*Sees a small rat come through where I just came and hops down from the ceiling, pulling my swords free. Stands up as I look around for the creature I was following. Slowly moves forward looking for any kind of sign ahead of me. Notices the tracks on the floor suddenly stop and looks around for any place of hiding*

*causes a few precariously perched rock towards the entrace fall in order from nearest to farthest.*

*Stands perfectly still near where she is hiding and doesn't move. Waits for the noise to quiet down and waits for any movement after the rocks fall. Doesn't hear any movement and keeps searching near where she is*

*pales and causes stones to roll down a slope into the lagoon.*

*Listens for any after affect and hears a little movement above. Sniffs the air repeating and picks up her smell to his right, looks directly at the hollow area where she is, grins and slowly approaches it*

*waits untill he is an appropriate distance away before causing him to trip forward and launching over him towards the entrance, her spell card at the ready*

*Quickly jumps back to my feet and uses my "Vampire swiftness" ability to become as fast as I wanted to be. Swiftly runs past her and stand in front of her as she runs into me. Grabs her shirt weakly as I try and hold her in place talking to her, trying to get her to calm down. "Easy easy...I'm not gonna hurt you. Take it easy!"

*Keeps holding onto your shirt*

"I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm just a traveler and happened to stop by the lagoon."

*Gently puts my weapons down with my other hand and keeps holding onto you*

"Well, I don't want to sleep where there are unknown creatures living that might cut my throat in my sleep. I am part human and part of me needs to sleep during the night...I'm sorry for destroying part of your home but as I see you aren't terribly evil...yet...I wish to stay the night."

*Ritsu waved her hand dismissivly*

"Whatever, you can stay. But I do have a question. Last I heard there weren't many vampires in Gensokyo. Or many males for that matter."

*she tilts her head*

"So where did you come from?"

"I came from the land beyond this land. I was forbidden to ever set foot in my land ever again due to me being...a mutt as they called me...my father impregnated a human woman and thus I came out of her...now here I am. A completely total loner. A traveler of lands to where I shall be welcomed."

*Picks up my weapons and shuffled to the corner of the cave and set them down there*

"What do you eat? I was going to grab some food...unless you have some I could eat..."
