How can I escape!?

It took no more than five seconds for her to come up with an absolutely fairy-brained idea.

"A distraction!!" she shouts, not caring about noise anymore, as the entire hut bursts into flames.

"Aw crud. How do I get out?"

"Ah...haha..." She chuckles nervously.

"I've come through... a few times, and heard alo-"

Suddenly he nearby house burst into flames."

"Holy Suwako's Right Fist! What the hell!"

A knife twirls out of the flaming doorway (poorly thrown), hits a tree and just drops onto the ground.
"Freeeeeeedom!!!" suddenly the fairy was next to the knife, which she picked up and made what was probably supposed to be a victory pose for a good 20 seconds.

*looks around, forgetting the danger she might have probably been in.*

"Hey wait up!" she flies over to the two people. The tall guy looked intimidating, but the smaller girl seemed friendly enough to approach.

"why'd you attack my house!?"

Smaller girl? I'm a good few inchstaller than you, I'll have you kn-*grumble grumble*

"Attack? Idiot fairy your home... you know what? It lit itself on fire to escape your idiocy"

That's what I might have said if I was more cynical or had a weird split personality thing like that hashihime girl.

Intead I responded as such, "Huh? Us? We didn't do anything! It just blew up!"

"Then why did you come so close to my home? You're up to something suspicious..."

"Probably to steal me away and eat my soul or something!" she whispered to herself, very worried and letting out a small squeal.

*in response to this she flushes and responds rather loudly*

"We're not doing anything like that!"

She begins to wildly wave an outstretched hand in her tall, dark, and well.. dark companion's direction.
"I'm showing ths weird person around Gensokyo since he's new and will likly be staying untill Yakumo gets her ass out here and deals with him!"

I wonder if I'm putting off Yukari's part in this story because she'd be amused by all of this, or if I just don't want to write for her XD

Sakura scratched her head as she thought long and hard(relatively), trying to remember.

"who is she again?"

at least Yukari is pretty easy to fit into ANY story whatsoever. her and her powers of existence-hacking...

"W-What? You live in Gensokyo and you have no idea who Yakumo Yukari is?"

Ritsu's mouth could only drop lower.

"She is... you know... The Youkai of Boundaries...? WHo re or less CREATED Gensokyo?"

Ritsu rolls her hands over each other as she says that, then continues,"Any of this ringing a bell?"

*He looks back and forth from the two girls as they bicker about random nonsense as he thinks about why the house exploded, he moves forward to look at the now charred house for any suspicious activity near there, turns and looks back as they continue fighting as he moves outta the picture for a bit*
