EoSD rewrite! (rather terrible)

Gensokyo.

The land within the Hakurei Border, watched over by the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, Hakurei Reimu.

It's a land of many things an outsider would find strange or even terrifying.

However, none of that really mattered to Reimu herself. She had grown up in such a way that things such as sweeping the shrine grounds, drinking tea, chasing mischievous fairys away or a youkai threatening to eat someone were all ordinary things that happened at least once a day.

Or rather, that was what occured on an average day, which today happened to not be.

After all, Reimu had been rudely awakened by her longtime friend and rival, Kirisame Marisa, excitedly jabbering about something strange that had apparently happened with the late summer sky.

It had filled with a scarlet fog, and after completing her objective or ensuring that her protesting miko friend understood the gravity of this incident, and why she needed to help solve it, the black-white witch was off to gather preliminary information as Reimu prepared for the day.
